WebCry is a browser hijacker, which promotes rogue anti-spyware programs by redirecting to their websites as well as other unsolicited and possibly malicious websites. None of the products or services promoted by WebCry are to be trusted since they are either non-functional or malware-related. WebCry is a threat and should therefore be removed upon detection. (via)
