Infectionscanner.com is a fake security web-site that promotes rogue anti-spyware software called AntiVirus 2008. The software installs itself, without consent, on the user’s computers and registry. It modified Internet Explorer and search settings and force you to download the trial version of AntiVirus 2008. (via)
