Insecure Internet activity

“Insecure Internet activity” is misleading warning displayed by trojans and fake security programs. The alert claims that a computer is badly infected. If clicked upon, the pop-up downloads either Antivirus2008 or Win Spyware Protect and urges to pay for using the program. The demand is fraudulent since neither WinSpywareProtect nor Antivirus 2008 is useful. They take your money but you get nothing in return. “Insecure Internet activity. Threat of virus attack” may also advertise Pro Antispyware 2009 malware.

The “Insecure Internet activity” pop-up displays the following message:

Continue to this website unprotected (not recommended).

Run anti-spyware scan if your computer loads this warning.
