Internet Security Deluxe threat: information and removal

Internet Security Deluxe is a new rogue security program - a fake spyware remover, which uses trojans, such as the infamous Zlob or Vundo, to enter the system. This parasite relies on misleading advertising to convince the user to buy it’s fake "licensed version". Once inside and active, Internet Security Deluxe will flood the user with popups and fake system notifications, supposedly to "inform" him of an infection or multiple infections present on the system. While this information may be true (due to pure coincidence, no less), Internet Security Deluxe has neither the ability to detect nor dispose of these "infections". The disinformation is meant to create a reason for the user to purchase Internet Security Deluxe’s "licensed version". InternetSecurityDeluxe.com, the home of this scam, claims the program to be "the best antispyware ever", which is rather baffling when you consider the fact that the domain was created merely a few months ago. You will find no contact information whatsoever - a clear give-away of the program’s scammy nature. Internet Security Deluxe is a scam and should be treated as such: do NOT download or buy it and block it’s homepage using your HOSTS file.
