Ekvgsnw Toolbar, like other toolbars with random names, is a corrupt Browser Helper Object (BHO) and, apparently, one of the clones of the infamous Zlob. This parasite has the primary function to promote various programs and services of dubious nature, most notably - rogue anti-spyware programs. Ekvgsnw Toolbar might  redirect the browser to unsolicited websites. None of the things adversited by Ekvgsnw Toolbar are to be trusted. Ekvgsnw Toolbar is a pest and should therefore be removed upon detection.
