VirusProtectPro is a rogue malware program that says to be an anti-spyware, when in fact it is, itself, adware-advertised. The software installs itself, without any permission, on the user's computers and registry. It then sends messages such as "Your System is infected with spyware, buy VirusProtectPro to clean it" or "System Error, Buy this software to fix", redirecting the user to VirusProtectPro's homepage where he/she is prompted to buy the VirusProtectPro software. VirusProtectPro will display fake system alerts or fake security alerts to trick user to buy the paid version of VirusProtectPro, in order to remove the potential and reported problems.
VIRUSPROTECTPRO IS VERY DANGEROUS AND MUST BE REMOVED!
Automated Removal Instructions for VirusProtectPro:
1. Print out these instructions as we will need to close every window that is open later in the fix.
2. Download Spyware Doctor from here and save it to your desktop:
3. Next, reboot your computer into Safe Mode by doing the following.
4. When your computer has started in safe mode, and you see the desktop, close all open windows.
5. Now, double-click on the SpyDoctor icon that should be residing on your desktop.
6. When the tool first starts you will see a credits screen. Simply press any key on your keyboard to get to the next screen.
7. After installation and update you will see a menu press the enter key to choose the option Clean (safe mode recommended).
8. The program will start cleaning your computer and go through a series of cleanup processes.
9. When Disk Cleanup is finished, you will be presented with an option asking Do you want to fix the computer? (fixed checked). Now you will have to purchase the product to fix the problems.
10. When done your computer will be fixed. Reboot the computer.
Your computer should now be free of the VirusProtectPro infection.
