Ekvgsnw Toolbar, like other toolbars with random names, is a corrupt Browser Helper Object (BHO) and, apparently, one of the clones of the infamous Zlob. This parasite has the primary function to promote various programs and services of dubious nature, most notably - rogue anti-spyware programs.
